This water damage was caused by a plastic bag caught in the sink drain while the water was running and the school was closed for the weekend. There were several rooms and hallway affected which included tile, carpet floors and wet drywalls. Some cabinets were also affected. SERVPRO crew arrived that morning and vacuumed the excess water from flooring. The air movers and dehumifiers were setup to start the drying process. Over the weekend we were able to dry out the classrooms so school could resume on Monday morning. The principal was kept informed and was very pleased with the quick response.
